07:51 am - I just wrote this crap on Twitter too but who the hell is going to notice it at 7:30 am
It appears to be snowing outside this morning, which means that once again a benevolent yet overcredulous deity has misheard the prayers of the Church of Sarcasm. This time around the misunderstanding seems to have been caused by the church's Sunday sermon, entitled "Jesus, could there BE any more snow?"

This isn't the first time the words of the Church of Sarcasm has been taken sincerely, nor do I suspect it will be the last. (They're used to it by now, but you should hear their shock and surprise every time it happens.) Other sects which frequently get the same treatment include the Ironicopalians and the Sisters of Reverse Psychology. Meanwhile I believe that my chosen deity, while comprised of unconditional love for everything and everyone, has a gigantic sense of humor and isn't above responding at times with a good-natured snort and a "Yeah, right." This goes a long way towards explaining a lot.

The report last night said less than an inch, but that doesn't look like less than an inch.

I think they heard your prayers and are trying to make the snow go away.
