Ladies and gentlemen, here now without any context whatsoever, Italian pop star Rita Pavone in My Name Is Potato.

Works for me.

I'm ... um ... wow?
That video is mesmerizing. The song is catchy, I can vaguely understand the Italian, and the cartoon gun-toting all-American potato really makes it.
My favorite part is when she sings the second verse and the potato does all the things it did in the first verse. It had a limited repertoire, but my that potato could shoot!
I love Rita Pavone! "Remember Me," "Kissin' Time, USA," amazing!!
This song is also amazing. And hey... look at the move she does at 1:13 - it looks really familiar to me, and I think that it's because I recognize it from this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXWvjkX446A

I love the European obsession with indians and cowboys as an integral and representative part of our culture. But never before have I loved it in potato form.
I wish my name were potato.
You have described this video most succinctly.
It's like Charro, Goldie Hawn, and a potato from a School House Rocks special fell into an A-Ha video.
Also I love that her jacket is sort of a negative of The Prisoner's jacket. Maybe the potato is Rover?!
