This here's the Greatest Crossover in Recorded History1:
Boss Hogg and Enos guest star on Alice. What happens when you take Boss Hogg out of his own little television world and place him in a three camera sitcom with a laugh track? Well, here's where you find out.
All the requirements of a Great Sitcom Crossover are here. See how many you can count, and keep in mind I may be using a different definition of the word "great" than you are familiar with.
And here's to the men and women of genius who made the formulaic sitcom storyline a true artform2.
1. I may be exaggerating slightly here.
2. And here as well.

Completely throws off the continuity of the Flo/Enos crossover of 1980.
But that Alice... she may have only had six lines, but she sure saved the day!
TELL IT TO LINDA LAVIN
Thanks to YouTube I was also able to catch the different renditions of the theme song, going all-all-the-way lounge act-ish near Season 3. Listening to Linda Lavin really sell the song (with breaths!) is admirable and hilarious all at the same time.
THERE'S A-UH NOOOOOO GIRL IN TOWWWWWWWWN cause I'm -- FEE-LIN' GOOD!! GOT A SMILE, GOT A SONG FOR THE -- NEIGH BO-OR HOOOOODahhhHHHTHINGS ARE GREAT when you STAND on your -- OWWWN TOOOOOOO FEET
And this girl's here to SAAAY!
With some LUCK-and-LOVE-life's gonna beeeeeeee
My favorite celebrity appearance on Alice was when Art Carney showed up and Mel tried to get him to endorse "Chili Con Carney" but Art eventually convinced him that "Chili Con Sharples" would be better.
I can't watch those episodes of M*A*S*H with Sorrell Booke as a guest star because I keep waiting for Boss Hogg to go after Hawkeye and Trapper and their still.
Now about this time the Swamp boys was sure down on their luck, what with Frank Burns comin' up on their left and Boss Hogg comin' down on their right... and in that situation, there ain't no direction I could give 'em.

Great, now you've got me picturing Loretta Swit in short shorts and a bikini top.
Does that bring any of those shows into the Tommyverse?

Oh man... I think I remeber this when it aired. It was quite surreal, if I remember... and I recall thinking at the time that it didn't work for me having Enos arrive with Boss Hogg... Sheriff Coltree would have been better... but he wasn't one of the star draws.
(FWIW, I'm commenting before viewing the clips)
