01:22 pm - IMPORTANT CULTURAL UPDATE
There is a banjo in the office.
Someone just played the opening Duelling Banjos lick.
I'm waiting for the pickin' and a-grinnin' to commence.

I saw a banjo for fifty bucks at a pawnshop once, and nearly bought it just so I could learn Grandmother's Song. You could have saved me 20% with your donation!

Banjo Guy just explained he got it for $85.00 on Craigslist, it's only got two strings but since he knows guitar, he's gonna restring it and learn how to play.

Man, I wish I had $50-$85 for a banjo...

Funny. I just took my banjo out of the trunk of my car today before heading to work. A friend of mine and I were supposed to practice last night for a 'talent show' that's coming up, but she'd forgotten her guitar. And no, I will not play Feudin' (Duelling) Banjos.

I suppose that song is to the banjo as "Heart & Soul" (or "Chopsticks") is to the piano, or as "Lady of Spain" is to the accordion.

Sigh--their only Queen cover is "Fat-Bottomed Girls."

Although they do a mean "Dueling Banjos."

That Queen cover is great, though. As is "My Best Friend's Girl" and "Ace of Spades".

Have you heard Joousama Monogatari, the 9-minute-long (I think) Japanese-language Queen medley?

Personally, I'm hoping for "Whiskey 'Fore Breakfast" by Mike Cross.

Jug Band would be an instant videogame sensation. I'd fight everyone to get to play washboard.
