six o'clock: still just a potato

Didn't Bart spell it with an e at the end? Maybe I'm remembering wrong. I guess there's no reason to do such alarming things, even in pursuit of Simpsonness.
I was looking up hilarious diseases that Grandpa thinks still exist, and I was slightly saddened to find that dropsy is just edema.
Juggler's Despair is still pretty cool, though.

is there a website that lists all those diseases?
Not that I could locate, but there's <a href="http://www.oldmansimpson.com/index.php?page=sounds>this, at least</a>. I'd always thought it was 'grippe', but I guess either way is okay.
And King's Evil (aka scrofula) is tuberculosis of the lymph nodes around the neck, and the ague is a general term for a disease involving serious fever that probably usually referred to malaria.
I was going to say that "malaria" is a silly term in itself since it means "bad air", but I suppose that air that is full of malaria-carrying mosquitoes is indeed bad air.
Neglect not the bloody flux
! I swear once I read it referred to as 'the bloody flicks', although I don't really know how that could make sense.
