There is a cool "biosphere" on Powderhouse Ave. You should check it out.
How far up on Powderhouse? I can't wait til light season really starts and can do some treks.
My favorite is the house up in Teele Square which has a huge yard on a hill, and they do up a display every year the likes of which must be seen to be believed, and even then you have to pinch yourself and wonder when someone had the chance to secretly dose your beverage before you went out light-hunting. I inadvertently discovered it a few years ago and thought I'd really had a find til I realized it was printed up in that walking map of lights and stuff (which I will graciously accept but not use too much; it's more fun discovering surprises.)

First glance, I thought this was some gothic-y face carved into the side of a house. I bet the Frosty Gargoyle looking down from above is mega-creepy.
