Why yes, yes, it is.
I'd be reading it now but I'm in the middle of a neat biography of Adam Worth, Victorian criminal mastermind and the inspiration for Sherlock Holmes' nemesis Moriarty.

Fabulous! I have that Welles biography also, and (being deeply embroiled in a cerebral feminist doctoral manifesto) have not started it yet. If you want to form a two-person book club and read Callow together, send word [mike at jay pee jay dot net] when you're ready to start.

(And remind me to recommend some Coney Island / horse racing mystery novels to you later on.)
