|11:34 am - Otis! My MAN!!|
Peter Riegert, known for his roles as Boon in Animal House, Mac in Local Hero (oh go see it if you haven't) Aldo in Oscar ("It's Little Anthony! ...and his Imperial!") and also in Crossing Delancey (which I haven't seen but hear it's swell) will be at the Kendall Square Cinema Movie Theater Thingo Friday and Saturday night, showing the film he directed and stars in. It also stars Isabella Rossellini, Eli Wallach, Eric Bogosian, Beverly D'Angelo and Rita Moreno. Riegert is taking this film from town to town, showing up at all screenings, answering questions, and that's wicked awesome.
I'm not sure what time the film will be screened on Friday and Saturday, but I'm going.
Who's with me?
You lucky, lucky man. I wish Peter Riegert would come to my town.

Is...that knit thing an angry uterus, and/or am I being a perv as usual?
Why yes, that is an angry knitted uterus. I must leave the question of perversity up to those who know you better.

oh man, I'd love to go.
Oscar is the only movie that made me laugh so hard I cried (tim curry in the nice, crisp twenty dollar bill scene).
sadly, i'm in worcester, with an insane amount of work but do tell us all about it...
"Roscoe the Rum Runner rubbed out Rico the Rat for robbing his rum-running receipts!"
I love that film. It's one of those silly guilty pleasures, but so much fun.
