"I dunno, you guys," Mr. G. sighed on Friday, after reading news of the impending Truck Day festivities. "Truck Day sounds kinda depressing to me."
Truck Day. You know. The day when the Red Sox equipment truck leaves Fenway Park for spring training. People show up to bid farewell to the truck and wish it a speedy and successful journey. Happened this morning, actually. Yes. We have sports fans that will show up to cheer the equipment. What've you got?
"What's wrong with Truck Day?" the office crowd asked. He sighed again.
"I'm from Bawlmer, see," he said, "And, well, we've got a kind of different opinion when it comes to trucks hauling away our team."
Point well taken, Mr. G. Well taken indeed.
I'm sure tikva
will appreciate this.
