|03:44 pm - barfin all over the town 2008|
It's bad enough to throw up at work (which I did, at least twice this morning.)
But it's really bad to throw up on work (which I did this morning, to the office building itself, on my way in.)
And then again on the T when you're making your way home early after learning you don't have enough sick hours left to be paid for the day but damned if you're gonna be staying there throwing up all day.
I got home at 9:45 and promptly crashed for six hours.
fucking year at the ol' Bender family day I tell you what. My stomach hurts even when I think.
Oh, you poor thing.
I have done that before, on my second day at a new job. Threw up on the front lawn on my way in, sat at my desk looking green and ran to the bathroom a few times before deciding to go home, at the suggestion of my coworkers. My boss hadn't even made it in yet so I never saw him that day.
Looking back, I should have taken all of that as a sign. That was a bad job.
What a bad day. I hope you're feeling better soon.
There was a job where I was so horribly sick with a cold the first week that I actually had to take a half day off. I could not breathe. It was ridiculous.
If you want anything brought to you (food, drink, over-the-counter medicines, etc.) , let me know.

This is one of those good news/bad news items. Barfing's no fun...no getting around that. But the symptoms of the latest malady going around usually end this way, so this is one of the last stages and you will soon be very well! Either that or you ate some bad clams and this too shall pass. Hope it passes soon.
You poor dear!
I had the same yesterday, out of nowhere. Except I'm now a London tourist attraction what with all the people standing around staring.
Hope you're well soon! And belated congrats on Abbey's return (I haven't been on LJ much.) Also, I'm trying to figure out whether it's worse to have the American system, with a limited number of sick days per year at full pay, or the Czech system, where you have as many sick days as you can get a doctor to sign off on, the state pays you from social insurance, but the payment cap is far, far less than what any reasonable professional job pays.
Oh my gosh, feel better soon. Although, from your many posts about your feelings toward the T, don't you think vomiting all over it might have been a good revenge?
Oof. No fun. What with the kidney stone, I've been doing my own share of spontaneous chundering, so I can sympathize. Hope you're spew-free soon.
Feel better soon. Also: try not to puke on the cat. You'd think they'd take that better, given all the puking on your stuff that they do, but they actually get really offended.

Oh, dear! I hope you're feeling better and able to make rehearsal. I've been so excited about this one.

I hope you get better soon. Being that sick is one of the worst feelings in the world.

*bathes your forehead*
Ugh. Feel better! Make that scoundrel of a feline take care of you, or something. He owes you.
